When I first found out about this website I was interested reading post as we all do for the concern of our jobs. We get it alot of unhappy people and some mean things to say. How about some real info with real updates without all the bashing. I love my job and I do work hard to make students happy. Just want to know how long we have left.

Many grads at my school got really good jobs in their field. If you don't have talent and you sign up for a competitive program like game and media arts you will not get a job no matter what college you go to. Unfortunately the world is made of a lot of no talent slackers. The world doesn't owe you anything. Go embrace the trophy that everyone got on your team whenyou were 8

I disagree with B-gat. There's a lot of anger out there born out of a sense of betrayal. We spent a lot of time building programs that have all come to nothing. You don't just move on and let go that easily. So, if you're angry, this forum is the place to vent and search for answers amongst a great many like minded people. And because there are so many corporate shills now lodging comments, this forum also provides a chance to get angry and speak truth to power.
Having said all this, I do think this forum is almost at an end. Student numbers continue to fall and the stock is absolutely worthless. There's really nothing more to say. Everyone is just waiting for the final curtain to fall.
The "milking clock" comment is exactly the sort of useless stuff the "Real Info" writer was asking that we avoid. Personally, I just ignore all the frustrated/angry posts as they only make the writer look small and petty while offering no actionable or useful information.
I guess there are trolls on every discussion board - unhappy with their lives so trying to make others miserable too. Sigh....
There is a meeting on August 19th in Miami for all east coast schools. It is supposedly to have all EC from each campus meet the new president of the company but, let's be real, that is not what it is for. My guess they will announce the closing of more schools. Get your resumes ready!
Heard some vague rumors of something happening in August but no details? Anyone have some insight?
