They will but you get paid by CNY,PESO, RUPPEE or white rice, tacos, curry....and Good LUck with that. I go back to automotive repair. My back probably hurt but at least i know i get my job done when i see the car run again.

exactly that happened to me - I (10 years of exp) was replaced by overseas youngsters. now they are going to be managed by 50+ managers.
Looks like middle&senior's are being laid off in NAM. Some interns about 2-3 years ago are now being called senior. Skipped intermediate I guess?!!
A bunch of kids will be left over with a older manager. Like going back to highschool!

Why would you even ask this? SLB treats their employees like crap… no ethics… they lie… will do what they can to fill their own pockets… there are other companies that value their employees… don't waste precious time pondering such questions…
