Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

Who can I contact?

I have information that even though Ai was being investigated in 2013 they were sending false information out to potential students. The information was about "recent" places that hired grads. I checked the data base against the info. Can I help anyone by coming forward with this info? They still hide the career stats and they are old.

I botched the prior post. It should read:

I appreciate that people speak out on this site, but for the record the post below, which describes my work, is not actually from me, even though it claims to be. I would NOT refer to myself as "a high level reporter."

I would say if you are a US citizen and would like the United States to continue to be a society where individuals are granted protections under the law it is your duty to report suspected fraud whether or not you currently work for a company.

I still work there. I don't care about the money. Thank you for the contacts. I am no one. I thought they would change but they dupe ignorant kids to pursue dreams that aren't possible. The Admissions people really think they are doing the right thing. I have never understood how they can be so stupid. AI teaches you to be stupid. I will be go soon.

Yes, please report this information as soon as possible to the Debt Collective, David Halperin, and the Attorney Generals offices for the specific state(s) where this has happened. The sooner you can, the better. I know there is still an ongoing investigation into the schools and their conduct in certain states, most notably being MA. Any and all information to expedite these investigations would be very helpful in bringing these detrimental institutions to justice for all the damage they have done to the lives of so many individuals and their families.

Why would you wait so long to report? Seriously. If you knew it was wrong...

Contact all these places tell them your story, EDMC be damned and forget the worthless severance they were planning on giving you. Do like the previous post said and contact David Halperin as well, go public and let the world know.

Annmarie Weisman who is with the Dept. of Education.

I think one person who was collecting information was David Halperin, a high level reporter

dhalperin@republicreport.org

He has posted here. He many articles on for profits and fraud. I think he was testified at the DOE on fraud. Could probably contact any senator or attorney general who is listed in one of the lawsuits against EDMC too.

One of Halperin's web sites is

http://www.republicreport.org/2016/law-enforcement-for-profit-colleges/

EDMC won't give you your severance if you say anything and will sue you to get it back if they can later prove that you disclosed information.
