Do not offer up anything that challenges management (even if they encourage it).
For those of us out the door, we at least get to move on finally...

The fix is in.
Doug Lawler will fix this. Give him time.
Seconds up! We wouldn't be in the position we're in if former management didn't buy up a bunch of sh-- we're trying to sell now. 16 cylinders. You're funny. College grads have always been the norm. Unfortunately. I will say this management is way better than the last though. But a quicker stock.
Go to pot. It is the answer. Giggety!
Act supportive but keep cockswabbing their coffee mugs and pissing in the coffee makers if you want to fight back. Asspennies are always an option too. Is how I fly under the radar.
VZC- apparently you weren't here when this company was built. You can bash former management all you want to but the assets that they developed are being sold today to pay back dept. let that sink in for a second. If the crash of 2008 hadn't happened this company would still be hitting on all 16 cylinders. Not the 4 banger it is today. The people that built Chesapeake thrive on growth not contraction. I'm not in any way bashing the current managers, but they are managing this company in a totally different environment. So there's no comparison. The current direction is to hire a bunch of collage grads to manage this company with policies, but with no real experience. We will see how that works out for CHK. I hope is goes good because I have a lot of stock that I have aquired at really low prices. In other words shut the hell up "TROLL"!!!!
"Proves we were headed in the wrong direction".....hmmmmm, that culture had to start somewhere. It just did not come on one day...."today, we will stop all critical thinking and party our assoff." Is that how it went down. "Let me hire spineless lemmings and take my half day Friday's to the bank." Or better yet, "My time in the company sponsored gym is directly inversely proportional to the amount my stock price drops". Any of this sound familiar? We should stop out whining about not speaking up when we should have and "get off the pot"
It was a good job on a screwed up company. Management just didn't like to hear anything that proves we were headed in the wrong direction.
No need to be a bitter redneck....
Yea - that's it..just sit there and suck them dry for a paycheck; how yellowbellied is that. Speak volumes on the morals and execution of how they got here. Great mentoring that will serve you well in your next job. I would never hire a spineless slug from and O&G company now.
