Found out tomorrow they are going to lay off X number of employees. Anyone know how many? And which areas?

My family member works there and was spared. Atleast this time around.

Oh yeah, no s h i t, I barely got my break and there are some who get 1 hr plus lunches and many breaks. If they are looking for people to lay off, they should grab everyone who has been cafeteria for more than an hour. Everyone knows who the regulars are.
That's not right. Some of those lookers are always in the cafeteria anway.. a couple of old gossiping ladies from payroll/supply, a couple of leads from phone support, and a couple of guys from one of the labs. I don't know why they let them hang in there so much. They should have axed those campers a long ago, doing so maybe would have saved some jobs today. It is f...ing rude especially today though. Somebody in management patrol down there and put their behinds back to work for pete sake.
