I guess this is to be expected when you are lame enough to buy Sandforce and let their incompetent management pummel you into submission. I also did not understand buying Dot Hill. That money could have been saved for the dividend. Minnesota and Colorado will get crushed. Anyways it may be a sad day and my condolences.
Seagate should have bought Micron last year after they stumbled. It would have made WD look exceptionally bad for overpaying for Sandisk. And it would have covered up the other acquisition failures by being bold. Wall Street would have loved a hostile bid for Micron. It can still be done today. Show some balls Seagate and make a disturbance in the force before it is too late.
