Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

What's the best way to wipe this phone so that I can sell it without Intel stuff on it?

My emails all disappeared today....and I could not log back into the Intel emails on the phone. So I removed all the Intel configurations...and now the phone is mine free and clea

I had all the intel apps on my personal android phone. I saved everything I wanted onto my desktop's hard drive. I used "SMS Backup & Restore" to backup text messages and phone logs. I also had Googles basic backup features working (I don't remember all those details, though). So, in the end, I did do a phone reset, as it was the easiest way to get rid of all those apps and the encryption, which I didn't need or want anymore. I was able to restore and reinstall what I needed fairly quickly and my phone is now more responsive, too (I think the encryption was a performance hit).

So, this is the one time when I think a total reset is in order.

What a joke intel IT...

Remove the Intel email account yourself, then get rid of the Intel security policies on the phone. I can't remember if I did that through MobileIron or not, but you should also erase MobileIron.

My phone has them too but you won't be getting any new emails anymore.
