You should stay if:
1) You believe Moore's Law still works and will continue to offer double the density and continued performance and power improvements with every generation
2) You believe R&D and billions spent on 1) will continue to offer a competitive advantage
3) You believe x86 virtuous cycle can be protected in server at crazy high margins and ASP >> 1000
4) You believe x86 is still relevant in desktop at ASP > $100 and will again grow as people really want more laptops / desktops versus a phone.
5) You believe intel can structural change it's cost structure for IoT and memory and compete against the leanest and meanest companies out there, IE cut structural and commodity cost by 2x and get > 50% GM
6) You believe Intel can continue to get 95% of its revenue for the "N" node and sunset the N-1 node factories
7) You believe Intel can transform its cultural to become customer friendly for external products on Foundry.
8) You believe drones and reality TV and will.i.am will get people to continue to be willing to hand over 50%+ GM to intel.
9) You believe what Apple did by designing their own ARM core was a one off and that Google, Amazon, and FB are too poor and stupid not to do that too for a competitive advantage for their own internal billion dollar server farms
10) You believe none of the above but only need about two more years till retirement.
11) You believe BK with all your heart will find a new strategy beyond ACT to improve efficency
You should Leave:
1) You believe Moore's Law advantages have run the course and each generation provide little more than more density.
2) You believe ARM with a 1 billion volume will do x86 what x86 did to servers/mainframes. Use volume to subsidize a huge ecosystem and amortize cost of process and software development to make it the platform of choice. IE virtuous cycle of high volume paying the bills.
3) You believe IoT and memory are commodity and only the leanest and meanest companies that play there now will survive there too.
4) You believe Apple, Google, FB, Amazon and others are tired of letting Intel have in excessive of 70% GM on the server chips as they pay billions to Intel and will develop there on hardware solutions.
I don't know about you but I'm all out at this point
