The company needs new leadership. What did you expect, different results?

NICE will never gain to buy now as it will cut off partnership with Cisco, Microsoft and others.

Return on investment? Seriously? Do you not realize that they've been pulling out hundreds of millions of $$ over the years since they took over? Of course, never bothering to reduce debt they've incurred. Now that it's time to pay back the loans, they're scrambling. No disrespect, but they've gotten way more than a decent return on their "investment" - which was really not their investment at all - just $billions in loans and bonds.

Remember Avaya is a private company; TPG & Silver Lake manage it with various investors and banks backing the company plus carrying the debt.

At any time the investors and bankers can stop the circus, but they will want some return on their investment even if it is pennies on the dollar there is equity in Avaya. Reference Nortel litigation of remaining value distributions among creditors, investors, pension plans and others.
