Im 24 years old and i cant beleive theres grown men acting and saying things that has been posted on here. Im the youngest in My department and i feel all these immature comments are coming from men older than me or should i say children, or are there that many kids working in one location? Im glad I don't work with guys like this. Stop complaining, do your job right, take care of your families, stop putting negativity in everyone and if you don't like how things are being ran, go work somewhere else. If anyone has something negative against me, it shows that you aren't better than me. Don't ever bite the hand that feeds you.

F--- off 24 year old. You cannot tell me you are that naive? Probably one of the spunkbuckets who does what he can to keep his job, whilst those being paid off try to maintain mortgages, feed kids, and pay bills on a pittance. Add to that, trying to find another job in tough times where 2-300 plus people are applying for the same job. Wait and see, it will happen to you too. Karma, and life's a bitch. I agree with 24 yr old, i mean why can't everyone just stay focused on their job and whatever happens, let it be, you can't control it. If you are working somewhere else good for you focus on that job and stop being miserable. Your supervisors have a play in the ones who choose people to go not only big bosses. My supervisor told me face to face and everyone in our plant how it goes, yes there are good workers that get let go but MAJORITY are the ones with bad attendance and or dont work well, they are targeting also indirect employees so stay in a work order in a timely manner.
Being a good worker in my department does keep you safe. We haven't lost anyone who does work. Sorry y'all aren't happy with yalls lifes

24 years old and he is still naive to think that the layoffs are all about "not being good at one's job". So many very, very intelligent people laid off. Smug comments such as the OP's are pretty laughable. Think if he is a good little worker, he will be safe.

Hi 24 year old your just as bad as you are complaining about others complaining. Some negativity come from people that now have to work somewhere else because of redundancy. Good for you and your department for not moaning about others but as you have mentioned that you and your mates think it is adults then obvious signs show that you are all no better than the rest
