Please check our employee support site for laid-off Intel employees: PDX-TIE.ORG
We are a volunteer organization consisting of people who were laid off from Intel Corp. over the last few years. We offer each other a helping hand while going through tough times and looking for new employment. By sharing our actuarial information through our confidential database we are now seeing with little doubt that Intel Corp. layoffs were targeting older workers in a significant and disproportionate way. Many of us filed age discrimination complaints with the State and Federal agencies that are in charge of protecting our civil rights in the workplace. These agencies are: EEOC (Federal) BOLI in Oregon, FEHA in California, Human Rights Commission in Washington, Human Rights Bureau in New Mexico. Check your state for the agency that is in charge of enforcing anti-discrimination laws in employment.
If you are a whistle blower are also most welcome to share your information with us in confidence. This includes employees and managers alike. Please send a brief email message to any one of our web site editors and we will follow up and tell about the next steps to take
Thank you for your cooperation.
