Front end vs. back end

What amazes me as a back end employee is all of the threads clearly show that the bitter moronic rants come from those that worked on the front end. As someone who was formerly employed with EDMC, not associated with a specific brand, I never once did anything shady or deceitful for a student. In fact I spent the majority of my time rejecting ridiculous requests from FC's and their managers promising sh-- to students that was outside of not only TIV guidelines but even the loose EDMC policies. In the end I know there were some people who actually cared and did their jobs to the best of their abilities but the reality for the company as a whole is that the downfall of the company comes from the top down. Of course there are leaches on the low end of the totem poll but upper management is a joke that literally doesn't know their a--hole from a home in the ground. JR from CS is a complete joke and created a culture of "good ole boys yes men". In the end upper management will float away with money in their pockets while students are f---ed.

You front end morons don't even know what a change of major is let alone how to process it correctly. The only thing you're concerned about is getting students to sign the dotted line and hitting numbers. You literally know nothing about TIV or the regulations. That's why every day we get imbecile FC's asking for things the student isn't eligible, literally had one yesterday ask for a student to have the maximum amount of loans but the student was at their aggregate limits. I get it you front end people are a special breed of stupid but most jobs on the backend don't require us to be lying weasels who f--- students over. No go back to being on the phones and wait to be laid off dickweed

I also work the back end and I can tell you that we are held accountable to federal title IV regulations.... But I have also experienced higher ups telling me to just push stuff through. I think they are doing that because someone on the front end promised the student something that wasn't true and now the student is mad.

That's because you back-end dummies have zero accountability. NSA not processed, be patient, transcripts not ordered, be patient, change of major jacked up, not our fault be patient, transcripts not evaluated be patient. If our job let us not take accountability for anything we'd be pretty damn happy to.
