Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

Elmar

Has anyone heard what is planned for Elmar, we have no work. To be honest we have some but very little. I don't do much because there is nothing to do. I upped my data plan so I could search the Internet for a job during the day, that's how so it be. Office people have taken pictures and personal things home, what do they know that we don't? How long can this go on before we close up shop

There is always something to do! Instead of looking for a job while on the clock, worry about keeping your current one. Then again, it's probably a good thing if you get layed off. Give the people who really want to work a chance to keep their job. By the way, I know who this is. I followed your IP address and I'm telling your manager!

Pampa maybe not now, but soon if things don't pick up. Plants can only loose hundreds of thousands of dollars a month for so long!

It is not true that Pampa, TX is closing. Just rumor.

Elmar & Pampa Tx. are rumored to be on the chopping block, along with others. Some will be soon, some will be later.

Trust your instincts and start job searching. The office people have the right idea too. Better to take personal stuff home now that leave something behind if they walk you out.

They should close it down already, stealing wasting money
