Those of us left at AIO apittsburgh have to put post-it's taped pieces of paper on our desks stating we're still employed so HR doesn't clean out our desk. It pull would be a huge show of solidarity if everyone at all brands did this. Send a message that we're not okay with being blindsided and this is not the way to run a business.

How the hell are you still employed with the grammar you use?
I don't want to be mean, but this has been happening for years in Arizona. I was the only remaining employee sitting in an area of about 10 cubes after the June layoff last year. It was rough but I expect it any time I see more layoffs are happening, far from being blindsided. It may seem like a shock to you guys but you just have to have the attitude that youre going to ride it out until it's time or find a job at another company and leave on your own terms.
Exactly what is your gripe? You are still employed and if you think that we don't live in a world that has corporate layoffs and RIF you must be smoking something. Let's hope you grow up and become an adult before taking that attitude to your next interview at a company who might very well have done or will have to make drastic business decisions themselves.
