I agree with Intel keeping us around for the 2 months they should let us leave! Who wants to be around when you know you are not part of the company future! What kind of training are the new kids going to get? The managers are just greedy the want wipp turns, jokes on them they are next to get the is and vsp, the people that got offered the package are the lucky ones!

It's incredibly hard for some us to keep our heads up and exit with grace. I have been tasked with training my younger replacement - imagine that! My knowledge and skills are so invaluable that there is nobody else who could possibly do it, yet the Intel algorithm has deemed me superfluous. I am focusing on getting this job done with my usual professionalism but it gets harder every day. It's really just another slap in this face from a company I spent 20+ years with. I am leaving partly because I am ready, but mostly because I don't have any faith in the direction we are taking and I do not want to be a part of the culture we are adopting

The End Result of your politeness, fake care for true hard working long hours people, niceness to them, constantly making up "situations" and juggling with info (some of fabricated) with these people is 0.
