The storage industry is going through a tough time at the moment. Unfortunately, the current supply capacity is higher than the demand. I don't have any inside information, but I would be surprised if Seagate did not eliminate jobs all the way down the food chain. The silver lining is that team members at the lower levels cost the company less than the higher levels so there is less $ incentive to cut individual lower level positions. At the end of the day, the decision is out of your hands, so just do the best you can to roll with the punches. Many of the best things in life are unexpected detours. Best of luck to us all!
