I have heard from more than 10 Intel people now that they wished they were offered VSP's. I believe some of the people who have been offered VSP's are working their assoff because they are in critical projects. Whereas I see people who are not affected just sitting in cafes all day doing nothing. Intel can just open VSP's to all and let people who really want out leave. That way Intel gets to keep the people who really work and get rid of the people who bad mouth the company and just want to find a way to get a package before they leave.

Then the person who left first is who make the whole strategy of Intel and who hires these stupid employee! Please move all the employment to lost cost India and no one will afford to buy high end Intel products!
Do not judge a book by its cover. Working long hours might mean low productivity.
OP makes complete sense. Not sure why the loosers below are crying.
What are you busy with? Think carefully. Everything Intel does is stupid. It takes 6 months to come up with product defination, 9 months to develop, 1 year to PRQ, by the time the product is out, even the homeless dude on the street does not want it if given to them free. Before you think it's the engineers fault, think again, think harder.
People at Intel do not work as hard as they'd like to think they did. They are not as high performers as their Focal lies of achievements. Sitting at your desk all day does not mean you are working hard. It shows you are struggling with work.
More than any other companies known to me, Intel employees put on a show and an act to appear busy, fill up their calendar with junk, stay logged on at odd times, send an email to make it appear you worked all night....
I am glad the cleanup at Intel is happening. There are still too many around that should be gone. We can not change to a better culture of Intel without new people coming into the company.
OPs opinion Makes sense!
news for you buddy, it's not considered 'bad mouth' if it's true. why then are you upset if the accusations against Intel is not true?
