Yes, I do believe "Incontinent Business Machines" is the proper name going forward as IBM loves to dump it's employees and to dump on the employees and it's customers. Fact: Layoffs have left IBM accounts with little and in some cases, no system administration support. Now that's a business model nobody else but Ginni Rometty could come up with.
IBM still suffers from the illusion that it is going to be a Cloud Computer company. It's interesting that companies, such as Amazon, whose business isn't primarily Cloud, leave IBM in the dust when it comes to Cloud offerings. Why is that, you ask? IBM is a behemoth. It is a Mastodon from the ice age, slow moving and unable to adapt to changes in the environment. The vacuous CEO and board of directors are incapable of turning IBM around let alone stopping it before it falls off a cliff.
For a company who has stated over and over that the strategic direction of IBM is Watson and Cloud, they have not excelled in either and are experiencing layoffs there as well. If you are bleeding to death from self inflicted wounds, you don't throw away the tourniquets. Such is the case with lying about lack of skilled US workers and then hiring neophyte want-to-be works from India and other countries.
Incontinent Business Machines stockholders, employees and former employees need to overthrow Ginni and her morally bankrupt ilk, pure and simple. Even if that happened today, it may still be to late to help the company survive.
