M/S Intel is a large ship. It has a gigantic hull and has offered many employees refuge during the years. But recently things have been going on among the bridge personel. The captain has lost his wits, broken the compass and hired a new navigator that can't read a map. So instead of sailing towards open waters the ship has a direct course towards the I(DI)OT passage. No one knows the exact position of the I(DI)OT passage, but everyone agrees that it doesn't lead to calmer waters and that a ship the size of M/S Intel can't pass through. But the captain and the navigator are determined in their strategy despite several warnings that it is a dangerous course. Now it's just a matter of time before the ships ends up at the bottom of the sea...

Why cannot Intel become a fleet, instead of a big ship?
History is full of technology titantics that hot icebergs and sunk regardless of the brilliance of the captain. When the captain is not so good the prospects are even grimmer. Intel will be a classic Harvard Bussiness case study for the next decade of a company that could change when it could and failed when it had too.
Maybe the ship was too heavy with 105k employees. So captain decided to Leave 12k at the port and sail away without saying goodbye
