Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

PSG is spared from ACT, is that true?

But does BK and Murthy know that there are a lot rejected ex-Inteliers who went to Altera from past layoff. And after they re-join Intel, they are viewed as heroes to save Intel? The rest of us who toils for Intel all these years fear of losing our livelihood ?

to be fair to the so called 'rejects' could safe Intel. Remember Banias (Pentium-M microarchitecture) team were sidelined when the Prescott (Deep pipeline, power hungry cpus) were at the helm. Then they discovered how absurd to expect people to buy the 300Watt TDP Tejas. They changed strategy and revived the Banias and Dothan architecture and the IDC team ('rejects') became heroes who saved Intel

That's true. i think they are protected for 2 years. But now that they are Intel, these folks that you call rejects can't join PSG as well. They will have to adhere to the same rehiring guideline.
