So here we are in the final hour is decision time with Apple. What will we do when they come in with a low ball price? Walk or contra revenue?

If Apple was to move to ARM Intel stock will drop 30% even though they probably provide the best deal to Apple already and make little money. The modem will make them no money as it is fab outside so someone else and then intel needs to take profit. So you can bet what ever Apple asks intel gives as it Apple can walk away so will everyone else. Intel would like pay Apple to continue to use x86 in their PCs
Intel will take the Apple deal if Apple tells Intel to give it to them for free. Intel will simply lay off more people to pay for it.
