Yes want you to leap in an blink of an eye. Guys im going to introduce you to something and its pretty good. Its a start go to you tube and google penny stocks, yes penny stocks start with 500 1000 maybe 2500 and start trading penny stocks i personally have been averaging 230 per day its not much its better than sitting around wondering if you will find something else its time out for working for these companies that screw us. Make a decision and push through this hell we can do it, they have put extreme pressure on us now its time to use that pressure and fight for our peace of mind.

.................Just not sure about the "they'll target and retire the ones over 55" comment. I know of a handful that are or over 60 and another close to 70 that SLB has not approached for retirement. So I'm going to say maybe they target 55 and older in other segments but I didn't see it in the segment I worked in.

But, word on the street for years is SLB does not like older people working for them. They like 20 somethings with 30 years of knowledge and experience and they want them to move every 8 months to another country, city, or segment carrying only two bags of belongings and be able to do this for 20-30 years. That's what they like....

those with accumulating pensions should watch out, it's a liability to the company

I got mine promptly 3 weeks after turning 55 after coming back from vacation. Hmm one time when I was young they told me repeatedly that I was 'the best':)

Across the board, in all aspects I agree they these companies are trying to rid themselves of employees that are 55 and above.

Looks like they are going after the old timers. Retirements are being handed out.
