Is Nokia going to offer voluntary layoff package? How about 5+5 points for the pension to get people to 75?
There are many who would take the voluntary layoff package if the package was really good. And there would be twice as many if there was 5+5=10 points to get to 75 for the pension package.
We all know Nokia still has plenty of money since they are planning to give a salary increase. So why not give a good package instead for those in USA.
The Former ALU has many Indian and Chinese employees working In The USA. They are a very secretive people who reveal very little. All the White Europeans that I worked with in the 1990's left long ago for greener pastures. - and did very well the last 17 years.
I left (was let go) last year so I have no info to share, however I am preprlexed how little info we have on our board here. I see other companies (Intel, Cisco, etc.) with thousands of posts, yet here we are in the middle of a major layoff, many views but nobody sharing.
