Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Maybe project cancellation announcements will wait until after VSP/ERP deadline of June 2?

After all this silence from across the BU's regarding which projects will be cancelled, I'm starting to speculate if they're waiting to announce any cancellations until after the VSP/ERP deadline June 2nd, when they have a better idea of headcount. Then they can more accurately decide how many VSP's to force out and how many project teams need to be cut down.

Either way, I wish they would hurry it up...why destroy morale even further by having project cancellations hang over our heads? Any (non-trolling) thoughts?

But why wait until the end of June? Yes, BK says by the end of June, but why continue to draw it out until the last possible allotted day? Doing the cancellation at the beginning of June/as soon as they know headcount June 2nd makes more sense. It would be nice if they could hurry it on up. What a waste of sanity, not to mention resources.
