Unprofessional to say the least ! Time to kick "caustic" people out of HR ! Bring on helpful professionals.

If this feedback is as bad as it seems, it's probably time to make some changes. Wow.

Very sad to hear this negative feedback and perception about the HR folks. I hope they are aware of how negatively they are perceived and do something about it. I've heard of issues, mostly a lot of turnover in the past 4-5 years, and I have also been aware of the brash and caustic attitude that Elizabeth has toward absolutely everyone, internal and external to that department. It begs the question, are there not any better professionals to handle that role that the friendship between these two ladies has to dictate this scenario ? As someone stated in the previous comments, when objectivity is lost... these things happen. It's shameful !

EDLP is hatched from JM as well. That's one of the worst ones! I bet she doesn't know that her reputation in the company is shot. And the previous comment has a lot of truth in it... the behavior, the rudeness, the condescending attitude is awful. I heard there have been several complaints about her specifically in the Ethics Line... but who knows... that's where the buddy system kicks in and objectivity is lost !

This is a lost cause.

I wonder if Bill Way has knowledge of the deep erosion in that group. Time to cleanup !

SWN had a great HR dept before JM came along and brought MB. I assume EDLP is hatched from JM as well. Having worked for several O&G companies I can truly say I have never experienced a sorrier HR "team". The three of them personify unprofessionalism, from the sl--ty clothes to the unwelcome and inappropriate stories about "the ex" to the genuine stupidity. Y'all know who is who.

FYI, there is a new person in Jenny's old HR job. Jenny got moved but the new guy is an engineer with no prior experience. Unsure about this move as he was originally a VP of another team that didn't do much to benefit the technical staff.

Our company needs a complete overhaul. There are members of management who need to go. We need a complete cleanup of all the clicks and inappropriate relationships. It's challenging enough that we are dealing with the extreme business conditions to have to manage all this unprofessional and unproductive behavior. There is a deep pollution and contamination among the executive and and management team members. Human Resources has always been an issue and perhaps it all stems from it's leader. I've been positively impressed with a couple of folks, but they've left the company probably to go on to better managed situations.

It's time to turn the page and improve. We need to learn from our mistakes and clean up this place !!

That VP of Human Resources is dangerous. Inappropriate behavior big time. Time takes care of everything and the day will come when things are right. Manipulation and greed.

She also worked at BG with Bill Way prior to coming to SWN. They are buddies.

What are the initials of the "high-ranking" VP having inappropriate relations with subordinates?

Surprised that the head of HR has so much power. I just assumed she was the token woman in a management position of a discriminatory company that wants to give the appearance of being a little less discriminatory

Bill Way is a close friend of the head of HR. She worked with him at a previous company and made sure he was taken care of. That's how she operates, she clicks with people, and takes care of them. That's how that small group of surviving HR folks was chosen. Pretty pathetic.

If you're a VP, you can pretty do what you want, except steal $450K, I think.

@Human Resources there is a high-ranking VP that has continuously received complaints by employees and former employees for intimidation and inappropriate relationships with subordinates. Yet he still survives. You are the ones ruining the company!

Is Bill Way the younger heavy- set guy that used to work for Mr Mueller? I thought Bill was a contractor.

"Can't believe the VP of HR would hide behind one of these anonymous blogs..."

It's an anonymous blog...probably isn't actually HR responding.

In Human Resources, we know what we are doing, but sometimes our previous relationships from other companies have to prevail. I've been friends with Bill Way for a long time, I know him well. That's why he is where he is. Relationships help !
