If data center is projected cash cow for company, perhaps this is route Intel should take? Anybody familiar with any rumors about BK and DB?

You think Diane Bryant is innocent in all this? Did you see her euphemisticly- yet sternly-worded letter basically telling those offered a VSP "you better take it or else!!!?"
I don't see anything particularly visionary or stellar about her leadership.
No, Intel needs something else entirely when it comes to leaders, but that just isn't easy to find (and probably wouldn't be recognized even if found). The founders are gone. The Intel that inspired us in the last century is largely gone. These days, Intel dabbles in new technologies for awhile, but can't seem to make anything stick. Like Apple, who post-Steve Jobs mostly just keeps refining the iphone, Intel keeps refining their CPUs and the processes to make them and doesn't seem to be successful at anything that strays to far from that.
I don't know. I'm not impressed.
LOL at anyone who thinks datacenters will float Intel.
I would love it! If you want to wall street go gaga, put Diane and Murthy two in a box. Diane will have to be CEO though, otherwise Murthy will dismiss her and run over her like steamroller. But if they are placed strategically, and in the right roles, they would be really good together.
