As a former Disney IT employee, first I want to say I know what it's like to be let go just so some guy named Scumjeet can take your spot. I don't blame Scumjeet and I hope he's doing well. I traveled to India after highschool, it's miserable and pathetic there. Lots of Indians there showed their daily struggles and when I got on the plane to go home, I had given away everything and also what was left of my travel money. Even as a kid, the 4 or 5 Indian family that migrated here and opened up a liquor stores or gas stations in the bad part of town were well respected by the community. So don't start screaming at me like an idiot.
So now that thousands have been laid off, thousands underemployed, and thousands of students graduating, its time to temporarily freeze the H1B program for Indian applicants. The ones here already should NOT be asked to go home. I think if would be fair to have Masters/Doctorate from other countries (not India) given a fair chance to work here. And since all other countries get something like 10/15% of visas, then it shouldn't be much of an impact on existing workers.
Finally, vote with your feet, don't go to Disneyland, don't buy Intel products, don't buy Qualcomm products, give Edison the FU and install solar panels, etc. I'll take myself out of here with that old Intel tune "Bum, bum bum bum bummm!"
