I can live with half my salary.
I'd do it at Intel if I thought I could have work/life balance.
You learn online?
FM is on a path to renting out the building to healthcare or other shared tenets. I saw this coming years ago. Only accelerated by the stupid managers onsite or came in on shuttle
Lots of programming jobs available at the State.
Learn Java or C# and interview.
The caveat is you will only get paid about half of what you are making at Intel. The benefit though is you will only work half the hours.
If you want more after working for the state for a few years you can be a contractor and they make good "Intel" wages.
I did this path and it does exist.
Funny I was thinking about learning Java. That seems to be a big thing. I'm an old c proframmer
Work for CA state. Much better security and pension plan. Not much skills needed to join. Just learn java and you are fine to join.
