People who are leaving or about to be axed should as much damage before leaving delete all your projects/status/any info they will ask you to transition
He's probably talking about ISP's in general, not an event that just happened today. Surprised people don't see that.
And yes, even last year the ISP's were notified but kept around for a week or two to transition their tasks and for basic dignity's sake. People are already getting bitten by this, since ISP email addresses are still valid so it looks like somebody is ignoring you until you give up and escalate. Or when the important thing they were working on is in some draft area and not checked in because they were immediately walked out. Or how about the guy working on a customer issue who didn't get a chance to tell you how to continue it, so you're left with a 2 day old status report and a bunch of random scripts he hacked together, full of tribal knowledge on how to use them. Oh, and managers breathing down your neck for progress.
Why?
FK Intel . God, I hate this company.
SHAME on Intel for treating veteran ee's this way. SHAME.
Sorry to hear this. You were probably hired early 2000. What's the reason for this? Can you discuss? I thought the ISP's were done couple weeks ago.
