Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

As a manager, I have a short list of the bottom 25% of the geeks that I'd like to get rid of.

I love giving the death march project assignments that basically gives them a menial, tedious, long hours tasks. If they don't complete, I put them on a performance plan. If they refuse to do it, I put them on a performance plan citing insubordination. Either way, they are getting fired.

As Trump would say, you're fired!

I believe it...Intel is all about personal goals and politics. No one in management really cares about delivering a good product.
