However the task to track down the IP address and get the legal right to have access to who posed what on a anonymous blog is not insignificant.
Someone would have to post something very culpable to attract that much legal attention.

been on this site for 14+ months, there are probably 10s of thousands of messages and replies for intel only, imagine someone sifting through all that data, and to what extent
Also, since Tor is fully distributed, nobody owns servers, so there is nobody to subpoena.
Technically they can try to subpoena the last layer, but it would lead to the next layer which has an encrypted IP, everything stops right there.
Also, its likely the last layer is in Russia or China, good luck with any US based subpoena over there.
Tor is super easy to use, looks like Chrome. There is a maddening series of encryption layers behind it, hopping through 1000s of IPs before a post is made.

Tor uses Onion Routing. Onion routing is implemented by encryption in the application layer of a communication protocol stack, nested like the layers of an onion. Tor encrypts the data, including the destination IP address, multiple times and sends it through a virtual circuit comprising successive, randomly selected Tor relays.
Each relay decrypts a layer of encryption to reveal only the next relay in the circuit in order to pass the remaining encrypted data on to it. The final relay decrypts the innermost layer of encryption and sends the original data to its destination without revealing, or even knowing, the source IP address.
Because the routing of the communication is partly concealed at every hop in the Tor circuit, this method eliminates any single point at which the communicating peers can be determined through network surveillance that relies upon knowing its source and destination.

read the privacy policy here, all they collect is already posted on the site with the exception of the posters ip address
they disclose ip if you post a threat to people or property or if they get a court order
getting a court order is very hard, the plaintiff needs to demonstrate a legal case, given the 2nd amendment, 99.9999 of stuff here would not pass the legal muster, that is why facebook and twitter are still up and why you see people calling obama a terrorist and murderer all over the web.

Nothing is anonymous. NSA knows your every keystroke, Your every phone call. If that isn't enough you post everything about your life on Facebook, Twitter, snap chat. The government knows what kind of paper you wipe your asswith because you use store discount cards.
I doubt Intel employees would be able to figure out how to be truly "anonymous". Of course the comments can be tracked down if one was so inclined. intel does have a massive HR and legal department as their disposal. hint, VPN,Tor,proxies, etc.
