Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

I believe in Intel

BK and Murthy will make Intel great. And people will look back and kick themselves because they did not believe.

I agree but won't say much. Let's just prove it to the naysayers.

I highly doubt this. In fact I have never felt worse about the CEO/MCM decisions and direction.

Intel remains a virtual monopoly in some important markets and is hugely profitable. That won't last forever, though.

There are many big and disruptive changes ahead. The vision of Intel of the future is on some Bain-produced powerpoint slide that only makes sense to Intel leadership.

I'm not optimistic about the future of Intel because I don't have faith in the wisdom or vision of Intel leadership and I fear that the past couple of decades of poor leadership, culminating in the recent layoffs, has irreparably damaged the culture that made Intel great.

That's why I took the package...

So you believe in Int-hell, then stay in Int-hell.

Something is brewing, but I'm not staying to find out. I'm getting the f--- out of here. Intel truly lacks vision and leadership.

The only chafes are on Murthy's thighs. If you meant chiefs, the last true leader we had was Andy Grove.

I actually agree with OP. Something is brewing at Intel and I think the chafes are lighting some good fires.

Murthy's QGS was probably written and edited by Donald Trump. A lot of non-substantive buzz words but no actual detail on execution.

That's why Amir simply copy pasted his plan, afraid to take responsibility in case the plan falls through.

OP - sounds like a line from the song "I Believe" in The Book of Mormon!

BK/Murthy do not even know what 5G look like ? Why don't they give a 5G roadmap in QGS ? Most executives are hiding from open forum and open dialogue now.

5G will click and Intel will lead the market.
