Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Are there ANY decent managers left in Intel?

This blog has many posts reprentng all Intel groups/divisions. It appears the one common issue is poor leadership by the management because these people no longer have the capacity to manage (by definition). They are simply out to protect their own asses without any contribution to the good of the company. Board, open your eyes. Please see the allegations by all these former high performing employees.

People who complain that Capitalism is about "greed and power" do so only because they see Capitalism as a barrier to their own greed and power. AKA they do so very hypocritically.

And yes, there are many decent managers left. Unfortunately, their hands are tied by the rot at the top.

I'm sure that there are. But they're good managers despite and not because of Intel.

There really is no real emphasis (or decent training) for being a manager or leader at Intel.

And really bad managers are allowed to stay in their roles or get promoted.

Sad but true.

Bullshit. Capitalist is what Intel was in the 80s/90s. What we have now is Fascism under BK.

I should know since I had six managers in last 2 years. I have sampled many during a short time. Some of them didn't even bother to spell my name right. In 2015 I didn't even get a review. These are the managers that shape the futures of their direct reports. I wish it was funny.

There are good managers. Intel is regrouping after some disastrous decisions. Intel will survive but maybe without you. Look out for your best interests, Intel doesn't care about you.

It's not that they are bad. They are just responding to fear that was set in them after 1000 managers were walked out. They see the limitations of their influence on decisions made by corporate. In fact managers feel powerless and stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I know I am one!!
