Nobody complains at trump making millions or Steve jobs or Elon musk. Because these are great business leaders, providing jobs and creating products we all buy. The issue is BK is just a foundary technician who has hit the lottery. Our current leadership are mid level managers and not leaders that's our problem!

BK does not make any decision without BAIN. This company is run by them and their algorithmic data junkies. Our leaders are mere BAIN mouthpieces - little intelligence/heart/vision behind any action... Just a BAIN formula... Obviously failing miserably :(

Steve Jobs and Elon Musk are both visionary types so they created something uniquely. Trump is straight up a business man to the core. Steve Jobs though was the only one that didn't have help from wealthy parents. May Steve rest in peace.
Product as companies have life cycles but this layoff should not have happened. They didn't manage growth well or at all. The company is way too large for the market needs.
in the olden days there were CEOs who really believed in the company and it's products. And they knew how their products worked. Now a days, the CEOs are hired to make short term profits. And when they can't sell enough products due to foreign competition, the only option left is to cut people. As long as the final number is flat or slightly hire, they get there 10 million dollar bonus.
CEOs/executives are just looking out for themselves. I don't hear many CEOs say, "I'll work for free this year because I truly believe in the company and want to win market share." The truth of the matter is, NO CEO is able to compete against the China market/products. Even if we want to bring back jobs in USA, we can't do it because we have to built the product in USA and now it's really expensive to build since we gave away all our technology.
So in order to save the technology jobs, we in USA have to come up with something brilliant that everyone needs and can't live without and is a long-term product that's difficult to reproduce or the average consumer would not want to change once they start using the product. For example: Microsoft Windows.
