Did anyone find out about the PC refresh program being pulled in or not? I'm basing my VSP decision on whether I can get new laptop or not if I stay.

I hear the are going to start offering Granny Smith apples in the cafeteria. That should be enough right there to convince you stay
PC Refresh are still going and they have now SKL systems.. Business as usual..
No offense, but crap like this statement is why you were VSP'ed.
Your priorities are skewed.
Coworker of mine was refreshed 2 days ago.
Working at Intel a year, even six months, isn't worth the crappy laptop they give you that you'll be stuck with for 3+ years. Go find a job at a company that doesn't expect it's employees to meet or exceed Moore's Law.
If a corporate bauble is worth your career you need to leave this forum and go back to your online gaming.
not stupid at all, you spend at least 8 hours a day on your PC, it's important YOLO
With that VSP money you can buy a pretty nice laptop. 😳
I was recruiting a few years ago, campus... I had a student, a top of the class guy, ask me what kind of laptops we hand out, he was asking specs, etc.
Long story short, he was not too happy with what I had to tell him.
I am thinking, please shut up but he kept talking about how disappointed he was with the specs.
A few weeks later, we extended an offer, he went somewhere else. Not sure if this played into his decision though, but (IMHO) it was stupid on multiple levels....
This is a joke, right?
What a stupid guy
This post sounds like a sarcasm than anything else. However, I do not get the sarcasm.
Take the VSP. Get out.
Not like they'd let you keep the laptop.
No new laptops so take the vsp
Pretty lame criteria that also makes zero sense...
PC refresh should be the least of your worries.
PCs are to technology as buggy whips are to cars.
You can buy a pc laptop at Walmart for 300 dollars. That is why Intel is crashing. Really a PC?? Get a smart phone or tablet and move on.
