I think you can get SSL1 or 2 with a promo. Focal guidelines say that 95% should get SSL3, but it also says EE or O should get 1 or 2. Managers probably have more insight into this.

Wait! I'm a grade 6. I cannot get and SSL5, however, I can get exceeds or beyond, which would then allow me to get SSL1 or SSL2, correct?

Wrong. You can get a successful and SSL 4 or 5 at grades higher than 7. I know 6 that got them in last years focal and this years.

No, you can only get SSL3 or SSL5 for grades less than 7 with just a successful. This was changed a couple years back. For grades 7+, you can get SSL2 with successful.
