@ufh Good reply . India has young population getting job in Software valley (bangalore) is not a big problem.
ISP/VSP do exists in India. They take it, leave Intel and find another job in a month or two.
ISPs are illegal VSP are not. I know several that have been offered VSP and are happy as clams. Money in the pocket, get a new job in 1 week with Intel on your resume. And then in a year come back to Intel, as Intel is ramping hiring in India. PDG alone is creating a 500 person SOC team there in the next 8 months so they can layoff everyone in Austin doing mobile SOC
So how many people have accepted VSP ?
VSP and ISP notifications have been received by folks in India the same way as in other geos. Only difference is that the employees in India are willing to take VSP and leave, as they will get another job very easily - so, the VSP money just becomes an unexpected bonus. VSP is not made a big hype in India unlike the US where folks are outdated and doubt their being employable by another company. There is no complaining about H1Bs, Trump coming for rescue, etc. The business decisions taken by management are taken as such and everyone is aware that there is no point whining or complaining about having got VSP/ISP.. They have already taken a decision and there is no use of making a fuss out of it, as never will such decisions get revoked.
