Reliable sources indicate DCG is having trouble meeting h/c expectations - Consequently folks with VSP on the table to "seriously" consider it. Intel needs to free up capital to make more acquisitions and as they say in China, "Surf's up".

Well, that was always the message from the managers when offering the VSP package. Except in very rare cases (ex. extremely critical resource), they do want people to take the VSP. Site closures will barely meet half or slightly over half of the reduction target. Also, you could always rewatch Diane's QGS update...
I thought targets met by closing sites. Sound a bit more desparate now to get people off the books.
From the Big D directly. Honest - no trolling. I know that many are looking for some direction and this information is direct.
Very doubtful intel plans more aquisitions more likely it will do more buybacks or increase dividend payout with profits to keep investors happy.
