2 things that are funny and a reality about this webpage - (1) over 50% of the ones commenting still work for SLB. They have nothing to do, so off and on during the day they open this webpage and read news that they know will eventually catch up to them (caught ya). There is just nothing to do for the current work force. USA Rig count fell to 415 and will go lower. USA production continues to hold at 9mil a day. (2) Reading the BHI and HAL layoff pages, SLB has 2-3 more times comments. This is because SLB has laid off so many more people than the other two. Paal is being sneaky about it, he'll do a 2Q conf. call in July while currently they'll layoff another 2,000 - 3,000 people. So the news that's broke has already been done. Sneaky tactic....

Yep, email from the Houston Mgr got pushed to Mgr's below, they tassel with each other on which and who it will be for a few days and by end of the week someone is packing their shxt and heading home. That's how works people........want to make it another pay check, suck your boss off. Just buying lunches isn't good enough, got to suck them off literally....
I got laid off about one month ago, and I was one of the busiest in my facility... When they call me into the office, I was in the middle of the reporting.... It is sad to read some people got the job but has nothing to do...
