I wanted to send a note to all of the employees of the Center to thank you for a great 2 1/2 years of working together. It has been such a pleasure to work with everyone and watch the organization make a journey toward improving quality and performance for our students. My hope is that you will continue on your learning journey and keep your focus on helping our students to move toward graduation.

Chad Garrett will be the new leader of the Center and I’m so excited for him to take on this role. He has been with EDMC for many years and brings such a depth of knowledge about the company and clearly understands both the Financial World and the Operations world. Chad will be leading a great team and through never stopping the learning process and understanding the importance of each of our employees, the Center will continue on the journey that I have been honored to be a part of.

My last day is June 30 and I have a couple of weeks of PTO in June but if you see me in the operation, please say hello so that I an thank you for what you do every day on behalf of our employees and students.

Wishing you all great things in life,

Jim

I am so sorry, Jim. This proves the theory that they will use almost anyone, then throw them away to sink or swim. No concern about people who need to put food on their tables or have children to raise. No empathy for those who will lose their homes that they have spent so much time and money to keep.

I got out of there as soon as I realized that EDMC was gong to hurt whoever I their way. Shameful to hurt so many honest hardworking people. Sometimes I get the impression that people who are have never had experience as an employee of EDMC actually think that every employee acted unethically, no matter what EDMC department they worked in. This was not true I worked there for 15 years, and the day I left I can honestly say that I never did AMYTHING unethical and I was not suspicious of most of the other departments. EDMC fed all of us the "Koolaid" and I always thought that is was a privilege to help students to make positive changes in their live. They could now take their education and solve some of the financial problems and take better care of their families.

I always did a short presentation at Orientation and I told each new class that I had the "best job in the building! I had the privilege to be a part of changing people's lives." I believed this, and after I left and started reading about other employees who worked for them, I realized that these folks were not the " good guys" that helped people.

It broke my heart. I hope if there are any other employees who may now be suspicious and still employed there, pay attention to other departments. It starts in Admissions.

Jim is going back into retirement and they're relocating centralized resources back on campus for the sell-off feeding frenzy.

Get to the choppa if you want to live.
