I was interviewed at Intel when I applied and they rejected me due to "budget cuts". I am so thankful I didnt end up at Intel. I have friends working there. With their PhD, they are working as glorified technicians. Waking up at 6 o'clock in the morning checking SPC chart (?). 7:30am meeting. 12-14hrs work day. On call sh--. One ended up in night shift for some time. She wasn't happy about it.
One guy who quit Intel 4 mo ago and joined my company told me 'I worked at Intel for 8 yrs. I have 1 yr of learning experience and I repeated it 7 times over.' Seriously, is there value addition at Intel? Are you just wasting your time to get a brand name on your resume? Get out and do justice to yourselves.
