Gross Salary incl. OT and shift premium: EUR 65,000

Nett: EUR 37,000

Tax haven? definitely not for employees.

The corporations pay less than 12.5% tax The larger corporations pay about 4.5%.

VSP offer: EUR 75,000 for 10 years service.

Intel spent a king's ransom to retool the Ireland site. Now it will die a slow death at the hands of the declining PC industry. Sad for the good people of Ireland.

Remeber, Ireland is a tax haven. Employees are expected to pay the taxes; now how are you able to that with layoff employees must be an interesting accounting trick. O.o
