Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

So sorry for you people

Murthy f---ed qualcomm now f---ing your company (this is no joke that 64-bit by Apple surprise and to switch 810 to 32-bit in the middle of the design cycle deal is completely his lack of vision and a hacky solution as restitution at the last moment). You better look for other jobs now. Next thing you know a 15% headcount cut will come knocking. It will be hard to find a job then than it is now.

Just look at how it happened at Qualcomm. 5% in 2014 another 15% in 2015. Expect your 15% in summer of 2017 and prepare accordingly.

Especially now that Murthy has left them, qcom has a chance at competition in the server chip business.

If they are firing people, why are they constantly hiring for 5G division ???

Good, time for the sector to lose some weight. We want to see sustainable numbers, not overhiring.

Intel will definitely let go more than 12K by 2018. This is just the start.

It has nothing to do with Murthy. Look at 6-9% yearly decline in client, with limited wins in phones, and a two-three year cycle on server. An 80k employee base maybe?

You make it sound like it's a 3-year or less trend just like that Eassa idiot over at Motley Fool.

Like all the outsiders, you read a bunch of yellow journalism and think you actually know anything at all.

Maybe you should go back to the H1B troll posts after all.
