Senior software engineer 12 years of experience, mobile software development on Android (primary), with a little crossover to iOS if needed. Small 150 person company.
Base salary $168,500. Bonus tied to company performance, maximum eligible amount 15% base (company is currently profitable). ISO stock grants which i have no idea how to value, since company is not public. 6% matching 401k. $0 monthly insurance premium for individual, $50/month for family. $300 deductible for medical. 10% copay up to a maximum of $2000 out if pocket expenses annually. Standard vision and dental. Gym membership reimbursement up to $50/month. Cell phone expense reimbursement $70/month ans new phone every major android o/s release (for development).
I don't know about LA. I'd rather be in Silicon Valley. But the seems pretty good even relative to what my friends have been seeing in the bay area. Perhaps, the exceptions are Google and Facebook offers.
