Just why did slb alaska lose market share which they had for so many years to competition? I have worked for slb and halliburton both for extended years i can tell you why. I heard from slb employee current geo market bimbo said" we will not work for free just to have market share" do you honestly think competitor is working for free also? i think not. They just run a much tighter ship and can profit with less revenue. they dont have a large compound in ANC with daycare and work out rooms to support and lots of fluff managment. Alaska slb is finding out what having 2 bimbo geo market managers in a row with reactive management styles get you. Nothing against females as slb certainly has had some good ones in the past(DONNA GARBUT). Paris needs to wake up and send someone to Alaska to lift the toilet seat back up and get there ship back on track before it is all gone What can this district do for me managers.

Speaking of yoga pants.. most of females that they work in the slop/office ones wear that thing!!! No professionalism at all and they walk in it at the shop.

agreed, a very rude person. She will talk over you,interrupt,and never listen to you. She is always thinking of what she is gonna say after she cuts you off. very poor management skills. She lost my respect when she showed up to a meeting on the slope wearing yoga pants so everybody could see her large cameltoe. Not really what you want to do infront of a room full of guys. There is suppose to be a certain level of professionalism remember that is what slb preaches.
What other companies are you going to drill for if you lose BP, ExxonMobil and SHELL!!!! Bad management system up here in Alaska to operation office. They either need to shut slb dm off or clean all them long term managers up there. Seriously.

I find this Alaska shakeup funny, a couple weeks before I got laid off one of my Mgr's hinted to me about a Alaska transfer, I thought it was very odd and now I know all it was - an even further screwing. Damn I love the Oil Field, never fails, there is some "bimbo" or "wise ass Manger biting at the bit on sticking it in someones assto make themselves look like a golden star so Paal K. will give them a few hundreded shares of bonus...

You're actually wrong. The competition will go out of business. They made a very bad deal and are actually losing money right out the starting gate.
