Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

This is an easy phone related question people.

How can we get at&t to unlock the intel phone that was given to us? I got my service disconnected and HR said i get the keep the phone, but when i went to get a new SIM i found the phone is locked and AT&T refused to unlock it. They recognize the phone as Intel's property.

My SIM was un-provisioned while I was in the middle of a texting conversation meeting partners for another venture (ended up being late thanks to that). Was told by HR I'd have two months to xfer billing to another personal account. It was a week. I mean, come on...their plan is $41/mo. Really? One week?

AT&T probably won't do it without at least the account number. In JF/RA/HF/AL, you can try the AT&T store in Tanasbourne. They have experience with "Intel stuff".
