I heard around 1000 ppl will let go from MIG ( one of the most notorious group in Intel) in ww28. is that true ?

Which are MIG sites?
MIG -- Most inefficient group (Mixed Signal IP Group formerly Hard IP group which provides various hard IPs such as DDR/MIPI/PCIE/PLLs).
MIG DDR team is most corrupt. DDR team director favors people from south india which belongs to his caste. DDR/MIPI is team is most bloated with 200 employees. Max you need is 40 heads. I can write book about his bad practices. Newly hired VP Anwar is clueless and not able to figure out firing DDR director with his morons.
MIG is miserable org that says no all the time to its customers, the layoffs should be more like 100%

To the person that said they would be happy...that's a little insensitive regardless of what you think of that group. There are good people in every group no matter your opinion of the efficiency or lack of...and it is just that, your opinion. Take a minute to think about those individuals that have lost and may lose their jobs over the next few weeks or months no matter what group they work in...especially if you personally work at Intel as well since no one seems safe at this point.

Are you sure? If it happens, It will make me really happy. I have been telling that HIP is the most inefficient team @ Intel. I posted it even earlier.
MIG has more than 2000 ppl all over the world. so layoff of 1000 is possible.
All of MIG is 1200 persons , how can they lay off 1000 persons, it does not make any sense

They should also get MIG corrupt management members who ran away to other groups recently using their so called networking skills.
