Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel has blocked this site in the company

I can't access this site from the company. Also there is 0 news on the layoffs inside the company website. Only news are Diane Bryant was promoted to executive VP, Stacy smith promoted to oversee sales and manufacturing, BK compensation increased.

@bda right, Mickey D and Jiffy Lube do not allow access to the internet. North Korea too.

Think about it, you are working for a leading technology company in the world, and you are censoring access to information to your workers who are highly educated and perfectly capable of thinking for themselves

I have to admit early on there were some useful info from this site. Lately, it's all false or useless info. Some companies don't allow any internet access at all.

This site was not blocked last week. They just did it this week. There is no news inside the company except people chattered. Yet, all the layoff news such as Israel, oregon, Folsom impacted by the layoff were coming from outside source. I think Intel needs to communicate these news inside the company.

The company refers to Intel. Intel blocked access to this site inside the company.

You probably should be working, not surfing the web. If you are on break, why would you waste it on this nonsense? Enjoy your break.

I am not with Intel - what is "the company" in this context (as in "...this site from the company")

thanks
