Intel today is not well run. It is not meritocracy but rather political/populo-cracy, HR is political and there is no enforcement of Intel values nor strict code of conduct rule as in most other professional companies. 360 and no enforcement for values is to blame for all what is happening.
By the way, number of Intel managers told me when I brought up Intel Values card to them that ~2/3rds of those values are guaranteed to get you fired.
BK should 1st change Focal now and not wait next year (based on professional meritocracy review), 2nd do strict code of conduct enforcement (no tolerance of lies/games, strict accountability, program reviews, etc,..) 3rd really promote and live Intel Values (which might require mopping up HR 1st), 4th enforce professional and strict interviewing.
