C'est toujours le même débile en fait. Il en tient une sacrée couche.
C'est la bonne ambiance dis-donc, certains profitent de ce site pour se défouler. Visiblement la France n'a pas que des amis :(
Sophie please show my friends a good time when they come from Bangalore to learn your stupid script.
They will like to try your wine and good life before Sophie closes
So is LTE dead? The tech media says it is still a go.
Dear Intel stock holder, where are you located ?
As an Intel stock holder I demand the immediate closure of loss making modem sites at Munich and French Riviera. I am fed up of having to pay for a bunch of no talented lazy beer and wine drinking German and French so called engineers, taking 3 months vacations per year instead of designing LTE modems which can generate some revenue and dividened for folks like me.
Please keep Sophie open for 6 more month we don't want to fix there bugs
I am french, and proud to be. But seriously man, you make me feel ashamed with such comments. You should get a grip on yourself ! You are giving a pitiful image of french guys here ...
Caaaalme toi, ça va bien se passer. Respire un bon coup, boit un verre ou fume un truc, et profite : la vie est belle, avec ou sans Intel.
C'est la vie
1far idiot
IMC will most likely be dumped.
Maybe they can merge the sites. Sophia guys do the morning shift 9:30-12 Toulouse do the afternoon 2-4:30.
Which French site will be closed first? Sophia or Toulouse?
I do not care I am working for Qualcomm !
In France Sophia is working for San Diego management. Don't forget it Boy
In San Diego the A-team is working for Qualcomm
Safety advice: If you see a bottle of wine where it is written Bordeau or Borgogne, do not drink it. It is probably some forgery coming from somewhere else. It should be Bordeaux or Bourgogne
Yiks. So much anger floating around here. Twwfu - the way we f--- up or what?
Mind you valid questions what happens here in Europe?
Long term plan - Just keep Rf development, Ramp down people working on LTE in Europe and do 5G from the US?!
Short term - Give everybody VSP with some HR nastiness and threats that ISP with a much worse offer is lined up next?
And if that doesn't work close a few smaller sites and/or offer transfer to site xyz within your country, because your job has "moved there" and if you don't want to relocate unfortunately you have to go.
Just miserably speculating like everybody else.
And btw. since when do business decisions have to make sense? Strategic decisions can later be corrected by hiring extra consulting expertise if things don't work out yes-no?!
If we had good management we might have already been at a solid 10-20% in the mobile soc market.
Also I compketely fail to see why this IoT stuff should have any bigger success. All the arguments against an x86 mobile soc also are true for IoT. Looks to me to be a smokebomb buzzword hype to gain some time to figure out wtf to do next or give up on embedded systems completely.
We are French and proud - Aligned to what Lincoln Vision was :

The only 2 projects (Modems, and another GV) which are into teh heart of Intel connectivity have been stolen by some well brained guys to transfer them from Sophia to eslsewhere In texas. Stolen in a hurry ... Whaooo !!!
Asking Sophia Guys to work Nights and Week-end plus Xmas and then empty their pockets...
Great guys, Are you making the same things to your visitors from Latin America or India or China ???

Wow you guys do a lot in 35 hr weeks. San Diego are IAA winners and saviors of IMC. Europeans are lazy Indians rule
Modems invented and developped in Sophia Antipolis. High skilled enginneers worth 100'ds elsewhere are in Sophia Antipolis.
Losing Sophia Antipolis will lead to losing the whole virtuous circle. Whole Mobile com, Flow dev, as well as Modem; design, FW , back-end, memory experts, technology and last but not least library developpers are in Sophia Antipolis.
Kill Sophia Antipolis, you will kill the whole Intel connectivity business. Believe it or not . That's the reality and worth thinking twice before making a decision.
Take care - and whishing the best to all . God Bless, and yes this is one of the Semi_Conductors Big Times.
All the best ...
MMMMMMMMMM
Close all Intel sites AT ONCE so we can all move on to greener pastures
IMC doesn't need 2 FW sites. San Diego is the center of FW Sophia is a bug fix back office site
Sophia is not just 'old IMC'. And icdg in Sophia is not just sofia.
Sophie and one German site TBD will be closed
Massive site closures
Munich is more focused on modem development rather than SOC, the site should less be affected. There could only VSP be offered, I think.
